Monsoon Season Is Here

July 24, 2008

Wowee, we seem to be getting all of our rain in a lump sum. This morning was a bit cloudy, then this afternoon the heavens let loose the flood gates. My rain barrel overfloweth yesterday. Today it just spilleth all over. I think I need another rain barrel.

Have to keep my eye on Tootsie for a while. She did not go pee all day today from last night. Just now she made just the winkiest little puddle, but I guess it's a start. This is not a healthy sign, though. So we'll just have to watch and wait.

I got so busy playing on the PC this afternoon, that all I accomplished was one challenge. This one is for the ATC Challenge at Scraphead. (Altered Trading Card)

For Cher in Austin, the next kit will definitely be "Fairy Land." Tonight's freebie is the last part of "Summer Morning." It's the rest of the elements. Enjoy,

Hugs, Edna B

OMG! I actually saw the bug zapper you were talking about at Harbor Freight on hubby's and my last visit to Springfield, Missouri. I thought it was a joke. Oh, I hate flies but, I'm not sure I could fry them. Patty

What a Sweet Collection ... I LOVE the Note Pads ;) Thank You for Summer Morning! Oh, the Racoons are terrible here about getting into my trash so I have to keep the cans in the garage and they get to stinking quick. Also, the trash has been getting collected at the crack of dawn lately so I have to remember to get up and get it to the curb. A couple of times I have had to drag the cans across the street to my neighbors driveway since they come back for the other side of the street later! Have a Great Weekend :))

Oh, Miss Edna - you are wonderful!
Thank you so much for letting me know my wish is granted - lol! I can't wait! Meanwhile, I want to thank you also for Summer Morning - a real treat - so many different goodies - hope to use them in my PSP lessons - if only PSP would stop crashing...
We, of course, had a ton of rain yesterday from Hurricane Dolly - so needed in this part of the state - our grass has been brown for weeks now - hoping some green pops up now (we are almost at the 12 inch mark for rain deficit this year - I'm afraid my rain barrel would be a dry and dusty one!
Have a wonderful weekend - again - so nice to meet you - and so happy to have your art!
Hugs ~ Cher in Austin
